Social Security Disability

This office has helped many disabled individuals get social security disability benefits and Supplemental Social Security (SSI) Benefits. I have represented individuals both at the Hearing level and in Federal District Court. This office typically charges 25% of back benefits received by the individual from social security, plus out of pocket expenses.

If you believe you are entitled to social security benefits, you should go to the local security office in your area and fill out the initial paperwork to see if you can qualify for benefits without having to pay for an attorney. If you are initially denied benefits, you may even want to ask the Social Security Administration to reconsider its decision before you see an attorney. However, if you want, this office will fill out that paperwork for you and try to gather the necessary medical evidence so you are granted benefits at that time, and not have to go to a hearing. In any event, it is necessary that you seek “Reconsideration” within sixty days of your denial of benefits.

If you are denied at the Reconsideration level, most people benefit from having an attorney represent them at the hearing level before an Administrative Judge. If you reach that point and remain convinced you are entitled to disability benefits, please be sure to contact this office within 45 days of when you receive your denial.

If you are interested in having this office evaluate your case before the initial appointment, please feel free to call for a free telephone consultation.
